Nadine Nagamatsu is a lifelong animal lover, female U.S. Navy veteran, and the founder of Kitsap Pawsitive Tails, a community-centered pet care provider proudly serving Kitsap County. Raised on Bainbridge Island, Nadine grew up active in 4-H Horse and Rabbit programs, building a strong foundation in responsible animal care from an early age. With more than 23 years of pet sitting experience, she has cared for a wide variety of animals — including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, and farm animals — across urban, suburban, rural, and hobby farm environments.
Drawing from both global life experience and hands-on animal care, Nadine understands the importance of balancing pets’ needs within both natural and built environments. Her military background instilled strong values of reliability, attentiveness, adaptability, and calm under pressure, all of which shape her approach to pet care today. Nadine is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and trustworthy care that helps pets feel comfortable, enriched, and loved while their owners are away.
